AMANDLA is powered by a team of women at every level – from the vineyard to the cellar to export. The wines are made at Adama Wines, a majority Black-owned company in South Africa, and part of the HER Wine Collection: a 100% Black female-run collective. Led by our trailblazing winemaker and MD, Praisy Dlamini, AMANDLA brings skill, energy and purpose to every bottle - for a wine world ready for change. Many of our team never imagined they’d work in wine, but now they’re shaping its future. These are wines made to be shared over good food, good conversation, and with people you love. They reflect South African culture, heritage, and the energy of a new generation of wine drinkers who care about what’s in the bottle and the people behind it. Amandla means ‘power’ or ‘strength’ in isiXhosa, and that’s exactly what we’re here to celebrate. We are championing FREEDOM, celebrating the POWER and resilience within women, and inspiring FUTURE generations.
